    Hey Guys,

Im finally back...YIPEE! (yeah yeah i can hear some of you screaming...Noooooo:D)
Sorry its been so long just been very busy the past few months i have barely had anytime to have a drink let a lone make a post. so please forgive me if i've looked like i've snobbed anyone.

Well i better get down to my question before someone thinks this is a lounge topic and moves it...hehe

I Want to make memoral photo board for my mother who has past and i need a really good photo editing program so i can zoom and cut and resize and oh so much more it would take me hours to name all the things i need, basically i want a pro photo editing program, thats easy to use.

Does anyone know some good sites where i can download one or where i can get one from and what a good one would be???confused

    Thanks in advance

    Alwayz Brooke :)

I'm sure there are better, but Roxio Easy CD Creator 6.0 has a good one.

Of course Adobe Photoshop is the best!! Anything that you would ever dream of being able to do with your photos you can do with Photoshop. On the other hand, its sometimes a bit difficult to get the hang of. There are tons of good photoshop tutorials out there. If you struggled with anything and are unable to find your answer, I'd be happen to attempt in assisting you.
    Good luck!

I like The GIMP... free, pro-calibre image editing software. Comparable to Photoshop.

Photoshop is great for photos, but the Elements edition is even better for photos, and cheaper too.

That's what makes Elements appealing. It doesn't have the thousands of tools and features you'll never use, but does have many photo specific tools that Photoshop doesn't.

I agree with mada, the GIMP is free...and very similar to photoshop.

You know, I've heard many good things about Gimp, but never used it. Mostly because I use other Adobe apps, like Premiere, and like the easy workflow between them. If it weren't for that, I'd be all over a free app!

Heh, if this is what you value in your image editing program, the GIMP likely isn't your cup of tea. I would say that it is almost identical to Photoshop in the number of settings/options you can change.

I have a number of photo editing programs, free and paid, but 95% of what I need I do with FastStone Image Viewer. For freeware, it's awesome.
