    Hi TimW, hi others,

As written in another post to the public, you suggested I post here.

I've been trying to do the read&run malware removal. I've got Win 10, 64 bit.
Getting to MGTools, I could DL the exe file to the desktop and it created all right a folder at C: driver. But if I click right and Run as Administrator, OR I try to do the same on Getlogs.bat, it opens a system window and says:
    GetLogs.bat 08/06/2015 Version 2.56
    64 bit Windows OS found
Your OS version is unsupported by getlogs
    Microsoft Windows version 10.0.14393
Click on any buttom to continue

and if I do, it closes the window and doesn't do any scan (or anything else).

What is the other program I should run instead?

    Thanks in advance.

    Angie

Please download the latest version of FRST the below link.
Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: Make sure you download the proper version ( 32 bit or 64 bit ) for your PC. Only one will run, the correct one. So it you make a mistake and download the wrong one, go back and get the other.
    • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
    • Press Scan button.
    • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your next reply.
    • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

    Angie,

Did the output of GetLogs really show EXACTLY the below:

    Microsoft Windows version 10.0.14393

If it did then something is wrong with your Windows Software because it should look like below.

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.14393]

Notice that Version is capitalized and there are brackets around the version. Without the capital V, GetLogs will not recognize your version to be correct because it expects Version 10.0 not version 10.0

Is your copy of Windows 10 legit?

Look in the C:\MGtools folder. You should see a file named filelog.txt Please attach this file to your next message.
