Amazon Echo - Skills

Hey folks, my parents from a suggesting of mine, they wanted a new DAB radio but I suggested an Amazon Echo, much better sound and usability than a normal radio.

So they this week got one, my question is and I've looked around but though alot of you may have an Echo is what "skills" are a must have or are really useful?

Any other tips gratefully received

I just want to get folks past asking "alexa whats the time or weather" hahaha
I'm today looking at skills to add, did add my spotify account for them to listen to anything.
Plus talksports for my dad to listen to football.

I know I'll need to do this with my mum as it Alexa cannot understand most of what she says, could be saying it too quickly.
