    I had no luck with Secunia so am using Kaspersky updater which I find useful.
    What is wrong with Secunia and is there an app that does the same thing - vulnerabilities not just updating?

    Haha, I tend to agree with you. But your statement contains a possible improvement. If SUMo would disable all the update services of the different programs and only runs one for all then it may have a positive influence on the computer performance. Especially at start-up.
    Well, I know that not every software runs a service for that purpose...

    After installing a program, the first thing I do is disable 'Check for Updates'.
    Then I run SUMo once a month to check for updates for everything.
