To Wifi Or Not To Wifi

hello mg's, I have had a moto G6 play for five years, (stop sniggering ) and it as performed reasonably well but I have noticed the last couple of weeks a curious event happening on shut down and start up the following day, let me explain, if on shut down the battery % is 90 and both wifi and bluetooth are on then on restart the next morning the % is 82, if the wifi and the bluetooth are switch off at 90% the next morning restart shows 86%, why is there a difference between the actions, I though on shut down everything shut down or is it to do with the start up proceedure, what am I missing, besides a slate.

 

Do you mean completely turning the phone off?

 

yes Eldon, turning off completely with the on/off button so that it is theoretically dead

 

Ok. There will be a difference whether wifi & bluetooth are on or off.
I'm guesstimating the battery's charge is drained (quickly) when turning on the phone. Also, the age of the battery definately plays a role.

the Leon came out in 2015 and had the ips LCD 4.5" display but only google 5 lollipop, and I though my g6 was old, your mothers mobile, what can you say, if ma has the hang of it and it as no problems then brilliant why change it, ray
