SO i will try to explain this as much as i can.

I swapped motherboards last night and removed my AIO.The CPU fans kept spinning up to max for unknown reason. If the clock speed in bios is set to 3.7 ghz that's when temps start jumping up and down.Close to 90c even with a after market cooler If i down clock cpu to 3.5 ghz the system is at stable temps like between 34 c and 60 c under-load.

I updated the bios to the latest for security patch.

Just sitting at idle the system is at 27c on the GPU side and 31c on the cpu side.

Any ideas why.Mem clock speed is at 2400 in bios.

Oh an i swapped to one of my other cases that has good air flow.

So you switched from an AIO to a regular CPU fan? I would double check whether you have connected the fan to the CPU fan header.

I think it was adjusting it self i currently have the cpu up to 3.8 ghz and temps are not spiking. I had it as low as 3.5 for the last few hours and i am not sure if the cpu did not like the 3.7 even though that is the base clock and boost clock is 4.2.The cpu header is in correct spot.I think the system need time to adjust or some thing. temps are staying at 25c on GPU and 25 on idle at 3.8ghz and air cooled .

Could have a bug at 3.7 ghz not sure at this point.
