The system is clean. However, the below indicates there is very little available memory which will result in some overall performance issues.

If it is currently working acceptably well and you do not intend to demand more from the system I think it is survivable. Your computer was manufactured 10+ years ago so there is only so much you can expect from it. In my opinion the answer to your question depends on the intended use. If it is uncomfortably slow or you expect to put greater demands on memory usage then you could benefit from adding more RAM, provided the older type RAM is available. This may give you more available memory but there is only so fast your system can run apart from the memory.

Bottom line, if it was my computer I would lean more toward not adding RAM unless its current state (or anticipated future demands) is unacceptable.
