Hello I can't attach jpegs to whats app texts

I tried looking through all my permissions, I think I downloaded a whats app update but I'm not sure because i do this in blocks.

When i click on the paperclip, it sends me to recents, camera, videos. screenshots, whatsapp then see more....

If i click on see more, i get photos (which is fine even though the screen is different) then albums...if i click on albums, camera, videos, screenshots.... if i click on the 3 dots in the corner it says "cloud media app(

    Can somebody help please

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble attaching JPEG images to WhatsApp messages. Let's work through some steps to resolve this issue:

Check App Permissions: Ensure WhatsApp has the necessary permissions to access your photos.
    • Go to your device's Settings.
    • Navigate to Apps or Applications.
    • Select WhatsApp.
    • Tap on Permissions.
    • Ensure that Photos & Videos permission is set to Allow.
Update WhatsApp: An outdated app version might cause functionality issues.
    • Open your device's App Store or Play Store.
    • Search for WhatsApp.
    • If an update is available, tap Update. Keeping the app updated ensures you have the latest features and fixes.
Restart Your Device: A simple restart can often resolve minor glitches.
    • Hold down the power button.
    • Select Restart or Reboot.
Check Storage Space: Insufficient storage can prevent media from being sent.
    • Go to Settings > Storage.
    • Ensure you have adequate free space.
Clear WhatsApp Cache (Android): Clearing the cache can resolve app-related issues.
    • Go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp.
    • Tap on Storage.
    • Select Clear Cache.
Reinstall WhatsApp: If the issue persists, reinstalling the app might help.
    • Uninstall WhatsApp from your device.
    • Reinstall it from the App Store or Play Store.
Check Internet Connection: A weak or unstable connection can hinder media sharing.
    • Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
If, after trying these steps, you're still unable to attach JPEGs, please provide more details about your device model and operating system version. This information will help in offering more targeted assistance.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue.
