Chrome keeps stalling....I've cleared the cache and turned off hardware acceleration. It happens with as little as 4 tabs open. Am I missing something??

I'm sorry that I can't help, but I have similar issues with the Chrome browser on a Win7/64 laptop at a day program. :( Maybe we should switch to a different browser. Does anybody here have any recommendations?

Uninstall and reinstall, and see if that helps?.... I really do not know, I do not use chrome, I am a Firefox user.

As in it did not work? Sorry my friend. when I have not had that happen with me, it is hard to diagnose without actually having the machine to just try different things, and see what makes a difference. It may not have anything at all to do with the browser at all. Seeing how stress, with more tabs open, look at heat, bad ram, weak power supply. Try a different browser and see if it has the same affect. If it does, I would look at hardware. Corrupt code somewhere.....the possibilities are many.

Certainly would not be the first time M$ updates screwed up something. Good luck my friend, maybe chrome will release an update soon to correct it.
