User Account Deletion

This question has come up a few times so:

If for some reason you would like to have your Major Geeks user account deleted, you should be able to do so by following this link:

Users can delete their own accounts here:
https://forums.majorgeeks.com/gdpr/

You must scroll all the way down to the options and select Delete My Account and then confirm.

If you can't get this to work, post in this thread and a moderator will delete your account for you.

I'm thinking of deleting my account on the grounds that there is no way I'm able to post a thread; new or otherwise. This is because no matter where I look there is no "New Thread" button as mentioned in other posts. I have even seen a thread that deals with this issue but it tells me nothing. This is a pity because I have a query that I can't get a sensible answer to anywhere on the WWW or the Information Super Highway as we used to call it back in the eighties.
Of couse, it may well transpire that somebody will feel sorry for this old git and send him a reply.
