When I type "discounttire.com" on two different Windows 10 computers, mine gives me a white window and no error indication while the other takes me to the Discount Tire website. I think the problem is on my computer. Where should I start troubleshooting?

Small consolation but the same thing happens to me using FF ESR on two Windows 7 computer with both uBlockOrigin and noscript turned off. I very briefly see something then the screen goes white.

    These solutions are mentioned:
    Browser cache.
To delete the cache and get the current version of the page, refresh the page in the browser using the key combination Ctrl + F5.
Access to the site is blocked.
Clear your browser cookies and change the IP address of the computer.
Antivirus and firewall. Check that anti-virus programs (McAfee, Kaspersky Antivirus or an analogue) or a firewall installed on your computer do not block access to DISCOUNTTIRE.COM.
    DNS cache.
Clear the DNS cache on your computer and try to access the site again.

I suggest you try another browser. I tried Brave and the site opened with a popup saying I am more than 75 miles away from a location and suggested another site. I was able to see everything in Brave.

:rolleyes:I followed your suggestion and found that I can use Edge.exe to visit Discount Tire's website. Other than that, here's what I just tried with Firefox:

    Browser Cache
I attempted to open discounttire.com, got the blank page, pressed Ctrl+F5. That did not fix the problem.

    Blocked Site Access
At this time I'd rather not clear all my cookies, and I don't know how to change the IP address of my computer, so I shined this one on.

    Antivirus and firewall
I'm only using what came with Windows 10, so I flushed the DNS cache and that didn't help.

    Other stuff I tried
I went to my Firefox Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Data and found two entries for Discount Tire so I deleted them and clicked Save Changes (I have a zillion cookies and the last time I deleted all of them I had a zillion problems visiting some of my websites). Then I exited and reopened Firefox but that did not fix the problem.

I went back to the Privacy & Security part and clicked Standard (Custom had been selected along with everything under that category), clicked Reload All Tabs, closed and reopened Firefox, and that did not fix the problem.

    Bottom Line
Since I only visit Discount Tire once every 5 or 6 years, I'll just use Edge to do so. I've spent three times as much time trying to find what my problem is than I would had I just driven to the local Discount Tire store and spoken to a representative.

Sometimes a workaround is the best solution. As old as I am, I have yet to understand finicky computers.
I try and keep my laptop and desktop the same and yet something will work on one and not the other. So I make a note to use the computer that it works on.
