Win11/64/file Browser: Font Size Too Large!

Hi! I finally seriously looked at the Windows Explorer's preview pane a few minutes ago and found the font size to be too big. :( This happens in both plain text files and C64 disk images. YHou might not be able to help me with the disk images, but how do I decrease the text preview font size?

I believe the rest of my system has a good font size, and I like things small. I'll check out your link now.

I am not aware of any method that will change the font size in just the preview pane. I suspect it's an all-or-nothing proposition.

I just confirmed that the rest of the system has the right font size. Is there a way to change it for just the preview? I also find that, when I use the feature on a toolbar near the top of an Explorer window to handle switching folders, the entries are too separated.

Assuming you're using Windows 11, give a few minutes to play around with my Win 11 machine. If I come up with something, I'll let you know.

What type(s) of files are you trying to preview?

I have Win11/64. At the time, text files, but I'd really need to only preview pictures. Also .d64 files: C64 disk images, and I'm using DirMaster to handle them, but I need to look in its settings for the right option.

*.txt documents appear to preview at Notepad normal. *.pdf s are small, full-page previews. *.doc s don't preview at all, at least on my machine. Images seem to preview okay, but the d64 stuff you're on your own with.

Thank you. I'd better change the Notepad font now. :)

Uhh...it didn't work. I use EditPad, but its current default font is smaller than the preview font.

Can't help you with that one as I use the the old version of Notepad and Notepad++.

I think the regular Notepad is responsible for the text file preview.
