Linux Desktop Icon Recall Or Similar For Folders

    I've had an issue w/ Windows for years because I prefer a spatial organization to my files, in some cases. I've finally found what should be a solution in DesktopOK for W11. But would like something similar for files in folders. Additionally, I'm trying Linux Mint again and haven't found anything except a script for desktop, nothing for in folders.

    Would anyone know of a similar solution for desktop or folder arrangement for Linux? Ubuntu oriented I imagine.
