Problems Setting Up Micro Sd Cards

I recently got a new Samsung phone and a Teclas tablet. The phone can take up to a.2.TB micro sd card, and the tablet can use a 512 GB card. I use the phone for work, so I tend to load it music heavy, with mp3 and FLac files, with some ebooks. The tablet I tend to load up with movies and ebooks, as I take it with me for doctors' appointments or infusion sessions
    Here's the problem.

I formatted a.new 1Tb and a new 512 GB Sony micro sd card to exFat, as that was what was suggested. Then I started to copy over the music on the 1 tb card. I knew it was crazy to try and copy all of them at once, so I started with music groups that I had grouped several albums together. For example- I have several Lovebites albums. I created a folder called Lovebites and put all of their albums together. I copied this, then moved to the next individual album. Everything went fine until I got around 95-100 gb copied.

This is when everything blew up. When I reached this level, the next album/ boxset appeared to copy ok. But, when I checked, I found the album title had copied over, but none of the music files. So, I tried again. This time, the music files had copied, but the music files from a previous album were gone. This kept happening for every album/ boxset I tried to copy.

I am doing this on a Dell Latitude laptop, with an Intel i7 chip and 8 gb of memory. All of the drivers have been updated, especially the card reader software, as it was from 2017. OS is Win10 home 64 bit.

This has been driving me crazy, as I have been trying for a month to get these cards loaded. I have tried different 1 tb and 512 gb cards. All are doing the same thing. Any and all help.will be greatly appreciated.

As a followup... Some of the files that I am trying to copy are coming back as supposedly corrupted. At least according to Win 10. Yet, when I play the files in a media player, like Windows Media Player, VLC, or Media Player Classic, they play fine. No breakup, no stuttering, no refusal to play because of corruption. It seems it doesn't matter what size media I use. It always does the same thing.

I have used this program before. I used this on a micro sd I knew was trash. The only problem I found using the program was it took 8 hours to write to a 256 gb card, then another 6 hours to read the card to verify.

Also, why would Win10 say files are corrupt when copying to card, when after checking the files supposedly corrupted, are actually fine?

Also, the cards I have been trying to use are Sony and Lenovo cards, bought from reputable dealers. Do I now have to suspect that brand name cards are also bad?

As a followup, I am finding that cards are filling to approximately 10%, then start doing the replacement of files. The cards are.also all sdxc, where as in the past, the cards I used were all sdhc. Could this be a problem inherent in the cards?

It's not clear if you tested to see that these cards are the actual capacity you thought you purchased.

Replacing files after 10% makes me think that the cards are a lot smaller than you think.

I found this: SDXC cards offer up to 2TB of capacity, whereas SDHC cards tend to cap out around only 32GB and SDHC is compatible with both SDXC devices, whereas SDXC is not reverse compatible with SDHC devices.
*xc means extra capacity and hc means high capacity so those only refer to size.

I have not been able to determine if Sony even manufactures 1TB micro sd cards. The only place I see them is eBay and that is not always the best place to buy authentic items.
I mainly see SanDisk and Samsung.

2 of the cards I had tried to use were a Sony 1 tb and a Sony 512 gb cards. I ran both through a program called fakedrivecheck. Both came back the proper size and the software said they were authentic. I did not run them through H2testw, as the 1 tb card takes 24 hours to write to the card, then another 24 hours to verify the card. I was going to use a program called Validrive that a friend had recommended, but it only works thru an external usb port. I don't have an external card reader, so that was out. I then tried the card in a program called drevitalize. It read the 1tb card as as 1 tb. It scanned the card and found it was corrupted, and could not fix it. So, I have tested the cards. Just not with h2testw. I am running a new 1 tb card through h2testw, so, in a couple of days, I'll know if it is good.
