Any one else getting tired of Windows 11.

It's been nothing but a nightmare. After 23h2 which was the best version it's all gone down hill.

Nope. I'm running 11 25H2 without a hitch. I've removed what I can, disabled what I can't remove, tweaked the UI to my satisfaction and, to this point, I've had few complaints.

I manage about 16 PCs and laptops, AMD/Intel, various hardware configs, all running Win 11 Pro. No issues.

^^ Similar here, it's a decent platform once it's been weeded.

Hard to believe, I know, but not all of us have YouTube accounts, so posting a link to one of their videos is somewhat problematic...and I've yet to notice anything coming back after it's been properly deleted or disabled. Like I said, I've had few problems that I didn't eventually resolve.

M$ is of late attempting a mea culpa, and supposedly allowing users block updates permanently, pulling back on CoPilot, going to let you move the task bar, who knows what else is coming. But having to tweak the heck out of the OS doesn't count as "I run win 11 with no issues"

A March 2026 update (KB5079473) caused users to fail Microsoft account sign-ins across apps like Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive
Forced Microsoft account + internet during setup
    Notepad's AI issue
    Slow Explorer

I'm suffering the "Automatic Destinations" issue where clicking stops working because I use multiple screens.

If you're running 'off the shelf' Win 11 with no issues, what is your update/patch schedule? LTSC doesn't count.

Yes windows 11 will reinstall things I don't want. The only way to stop it, is turn off updates. I am on win11 24h2 right now, but it still true for 25h2 as well. I have uninstalled edge, defender, and several other m$ bloat. I am in the process of closing my PC repair shop. Retiring. As soon as I do, I will do away with Microcraps spyware. I have my secondary, new main machine running Debian and that is what I will run. M$ will eventually do away with local accounts, yes we can work around it.... for now. If you use bitlocker M$ will keep your key and eventually you will lose your information, use something else for encryption. Something were you control the key to it and it is not kelp in "the cloud", do you really trust M$ with your encrypted information. That is a rhetorical question by the way. Yes all the telemetry will restart after updates. Not every time, but it does, and will, so you have to keep going in and turning it back off. No registry hacks will not keep it off. My 2 cents. Take it or leave it.

But that is exactly me running Windows, not Windows running me.

Windows 11 Home, most updates as they appear after some investigation.

I check every now and again, and I have not noticed these being re-enabled. Perhaps I need to look into this a bit further, but I'm off to work shortly, so it'll have to be later.

Most of the PCs I managed are for Point of Sale, tint machines, no tweaking or installing 3rd party software other than the few that are required. The update schedule on those are MS's default. No issues.

My home PCs I don't count as its a gaming machine with a ton of 3rd party software. Still, on MS default schedule witout issues. I also have another PC that runs Win 11, its on the MS schedule but I only run VMs to test stuff regarding cybersecurity.
Then there is my Kali Linux laptop which is irrelevant in this convo.

Have used an older W10 and recently that W11 version, updating to .6725 (https://windowsxlite.com/25H2Updates/) a few months ago. Not so much for the reduction in used space but for a 'cleaner' base install and faster installation.

I've made more tweaks and removals/disablement's since, reducing the base load and telemetry levels - eg. Windows 'thinks' there's no internet connection now... difficult to diagnose 'real' faults when there's no logging ;) you have to know what you're doing and know when to stop then when and what to backtrack!

Whether or not your usage can coincide with 'stripped' versions like these will require a lot of thought and more study, difficult to recommend wholeheartedly without spending a week or more looking over your shoulder.

Yes, if you're talking about Target or Wal-Mart. These are PCs with Win 11. I bought the PCs, I set them up. We connect to the POS System via Azure. There is nothing special about the PCs themselves. It's not like a large corporation POS, we are an independent small business. I have one Win Server 2019 that has an "offline" version of the POS in case the internet goes down. Once the internet is back up, it syncs with the Azure server.

Ok so i am testing out this version of windows 11.
    Edition Windows 11 Pro
    Version 26H1
    Installed on ‎3/‎26/‎2026
    OS build 28000.1
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.253.0

Giggles even though it's not suppose to be able to run on my CPU.

    AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor (4.20 GHz)
32.0 GB of Ram set at 3200Mhz

Seems pretty snappy with my settings.

Given that it was built to lighten the load on older, less powerful rigs with limited storage space that might be denied general installation by MS' decree; and mostly tested on such machines - recent, and mainstream hardware, shouldn't give any cause for concern.

The exact phrasing chosen for many aspects of their site and the product details might be limited by translation efforts somewhere along the line.

Been running here on a Ryzen 9 7945X 12-Core @2.5Ghz APU w/ 2x 48GB SODIMM @5600Mhz and both Radeon and Arc B580's for more than 6 months now.
