Windows 11 Licensing Failed On New Install

Hello!


I have an HP Elitedesk 800 G4 (i7-8700 CPU) that wont license Windows 11 after an install. I build this model machine all the time and have done at least 50 so far with no problems. The image I use is on a Kingston flash drive right from Microsoft site.


Interesting facts...



When I load Win 10 on the same machine, I still get the no license error. However... when I use a KMS license tool..it will let me activate it. When I use that same tool after installing Win 11, it errors and locks up.

Is this a genuine/new key purchased from Microsoft or a reputable third party, an old key from a previous device, a cheap key from eBay or similar store or are you just clean installing 11 on a drive which previously ran Win 10? If the latter then during setup skip entering a key & it should activate after signing into your MS account.
