Trouble Downloading Advanced System Care

Greeting,

Windows defender keeps blocking me from downloading Iobit Advanced System Care. This is a program I've used for years without problems and I'd like to have in my new (refurbished) HP windows 11 pc. What can I do? I'm not very computer literate.

Malwarebytes has been going after them for years now.I have been using iobit for 8 years now and never had any problems.Use virus total to scan the file.They marked it as pup or unwanted program.

 

Tell us why?

ESET, Panda, and apparently Microsoft Defender (among others) flag Iobit software.

In the cybersecurity community, the experience of one out of millions is anecdotal at best.

The improvements they have made in the past few years...Has given a tremendous performance boost in windows.Especially in windows 11 and windows 10.

The performance tweaks are nicely done.

My system will boot in 15 seconds with out issue.All the settings a tweaks that are made are made for performance.Just the basic tweaks alone give a better performance boost.

Sure there is adverts for the free version but lot's of people use it for the performance gain.

 

Yeah, I'm not so much trying to change your mind as getting the correct information out there.

I found that trying to change a person's belief is akin to moving the sun further from the earth with my mind.

My system boots in 4 seconds without it.

 

It's mainly good for older hardware.

My hardware is like 10 years old.

 

Thanks for all the comments. My PC is at least 6 or 7 years old and not very fancy. I've used Advanced System Care since around 2007 without issue. I have used for many years with windows 98, 7 and 10. Evidently win 11 doesn't like it. I also use Iobit's defrag and uninstaller. I love them both, but if I can't update them, they won't do me any good. Farewell to an old friend...
