With all these Data centers sucking up power.

Oh, I understand it can be a help, but the potential dangers (in my opinion) far outweigh the potential benefits. Any tool can be useful when used properly, just as many can be lethal when misused...and there are waaay too many people who are pushing to remove the controls from AI.

 

I've had enough of the intrusive crap from AI. I have a PC, Laptop, android phone, tablet. I want to get rid of Google Search, at the least but don't know what to use instead, Duck Duck Go was ok. Honestly, most of all, I want to do a normal search, as in before AI!! I'll look around MG for some options, but thought maybe someone on this thread could help me? Thanks much!

 

Firefox and Firefox nightly seems as of late has a lot of Telemetry added to it in the background.Even though you turn them off in settings they are still active in about:config.

I turned all of my Telemetry off.

Just type Telemetry in about:config search and this should pop up.
