Windows 11 26h2 Latest Update Sucks

What the heck did they do to this UI system it's BAD.

Seems they are trying to destroy Microslop even worse.

Home keeps going to an older folder for some reason and it's getting annoying.

This is a fresh install no changes.

it's called ribbon

In Windows 11, the ribbon refers to the tabbed toolbar interface from Windows 10 that Microsoft replaced with a simplified Command Bar featuring icons and a "..." menu for less common tasks.

• Visual Difference: The old ribbon displayed text labels under icons and organized commands into tabs (Home, Share, View), while the new Windows 11 interface uses a cleaner, icon-only layout to save screen space.

• User Sentiment: Many users consider the new design a productivity downgrade because frequently used commands are now buried in dropdown menus, whereas the ribbon made them immediately visible.

• Restoration: It is possible to restore the classic Windows 10 ribbon using third-party tools like ExplorerPatcher or StartAllBack, or by temporarily accessing the classic interface via the Control Panel (pressing the Up arrow twice in the navigation bar).
