1-2 processors?

    I have seen this on a Windows disk and it has me wondering.


    1-2 Processor Edition.

    Could somebody explain this?
    Does it mean that it can be installed on 2 different machines?

    No, it simply means it can only be installed on a PC with 2 or less CPU's.

    Traditionally, a 2 CPU system would have been a server or heavy duty workstation and would have needed multi-CPU-aware operating systems.
