1 of my 4 user accounts won't connect to the net

    I have an HP laptop with XPhome with 4 user accounts. One of the 4 accounts wont connect to the internet. i have a linksys wireless router. The account in question is connecting and packets are being sent and recieved but when i try to open Internet Explorer the web page wont come up. any ideas?

    Maybe, but I wouldn't say that with any certainty.

    I'd say chances are better that this is a Limited account, and there is a firewall installed. Is that correct?

    Sometimes you need to configure the firewall, with the account as an admin, THEN set it as a limited account.
