100% lose of packets on wirless connection

    When attempting to setup a wireless network with a D-Link DWL-7100AP router our laptops (five) show a connection, show sending packets, but receiving 0. when attempting to ping router can not. DHCP addressing and receiving a 169. address.

    HELP.

    I'm now sending and receiving packtet with a 11 Mbps connection but no pages will open.

    if you're using win2000 or winXP is your DHCP service started ?

    I am using Windows 2000 and yes I have DHCP started.

    Turn everything off, the router, the modem, all the wired computers, and all the wireless computers. Then connect the computers having ip problems wired to the router. See if that works, if it does, your ip problem is fixed, if it doesnt, say so, and we will try to help.
