    g`day people

Looking for some advice on what display I should lay my hard $ on?
3d is the go but HD is a must, meh what are your thoughts?

I`m thinking 120Hz acer or the dell alienware. If anyone knows of any other true 120Hz monitors on the market I`d love to read about them:):cry

Well it depends on what size screen you want and your budget. You could get a 27-32" 120hz lcd tv as they have 2 or more hdmi inputs.

First off, what is your budget?
Second, what are you planning to use the screen for? Moves, games, graphics editing?
Third, what is your current graphics card?
Fourth, what connection type are you looking for?

    Well budget?

    Mmmm 500-2000 I`d say.

I`m planning on using it for gaming well everything really astrophotography media viewing etc..

My current card is an ati 4870X2 but 3d is not really a need, just want 120Hz for fps (smoothness) and to futureproof my investment a bit:) An nvidia card is not off the table. Ive got a 8800gtx somewhere just collecting dust but it`s a little long in the tooth, as far as 3d goes anyway.

Any connection type at all , But the more the better i suppose:)
