123 copy DVD error code ocx.flash

I did a system restore on my Acer Aspore and after that I have not been able to run any DVD software I just went and brought 123 Copy DVD and It does not even run I get a compatablity message that says to install Adobe Flash Player 10 but after that I keep getting the same message over and over I had a downloaded DVD program from filehog.com DVD Video Maker that ran fine before I did the restore CD from Acer I think that something in the restore changed a dll file or something I dont know what to do I tried uninstalling all the Adobe Software and then downloaded Adobe Flash 8 and went to the windows system32 folder for Macromed and copied the ocx8.flash file and renamed it ocx.flash that did not work either so now I have a 30 dollar software program that did not work any better than the free program I was using What that message means does not make any sense to me I had a computer business for over 8 years and I never had a problem installing software like this. I 123copy DVD is a 2009 program and I am running Windows Vista prem home ed. So whats the problem here. I am about ready to redo the whole restore cd again but I dont think that will help IO have run all the windows updates except maybe sp2 I did have sp1 on my last bulid which I brought this laptop new not yet 3 years ago Acer Aspire 5570z so its a good system. I just cant get around this I really need help with this...
