1394 Bus Reset Test Failed

    I havehad a Dell Inspiron E1405 laptop with Windows XP Professional.for 3 1/2 years and have always run a Dell Automated Scan/PC Checkup which always resulted in a "Passed" for all categories. Recently the only item which shows as "Failed" is the "1394 Bus Reset Test" under the "Systemboard" category. Can anyone help regarding this? Nothing is connected to laptop except the printer USB cable and modem USB cable (for internet access through cable TV provider). Any help would be appreciated.

    It looks like it is a possible problem with the firewire connection. If you don't use a firewire device I don't think it is a problem.

    Thanks. I don't use any Firewire devices/connections. Don't even know what they are. I was worried about this since it just recently came up as a "Failed" item.
