2 problems..

ok i got 2 problems that are starting to annoy the piss out of me...

a few weeks ago..i downloaded Bearflix....mighta heard of it...


well I didn't like it so i took it off and whatnot..but now for some reason...i cant change my homepage from "google.bearflix.com"

i've tried to change it over and over and it just wont let me...it'll change...but as soon as i click home...it will send me back there.


as for the 2nd problem...my themes. when ever i restart or shutdown...it goes back to this windows ME looking theme...keeps my background and all (mind you, im running XP) but like my custom task bar and all this other stuff, i always have to go back and change it. and its just a hassle to do that everytime i boot. especially since it loads a different background...then i have to go change that too.



any help would be appreciated.

 

I'm not sure about what to do with your Themes problem, but the home page problem could be several things: if you're using some security software (like certain anti-spyware apps) it may be set to prevent home page changes; OR- BearFlix may have 'hijacked' your home page, run a HijackThis scan and remove the offending entries. A visit to the Malware forum and reading the stickies there probably wouldn't hurt either....

thnx...i thought it might be my anti spyware and stuff...soo i'll shut those down temp. and re try it...otherwise ill do HijackThis

thnx. and the themes problem has been solved...slight glitch with registering the boot
