2 questions

well first i a total video converter which my older dvd movies it's able to open but now it can't open my newer ones ,so does anyone know what i can get so it'll be able to open them so i can convert them to put on my ipod.

Second, my windows media player was able to play dvd with audio before but now it has no audio it just shows the video. So does anyone know what could be the problem , I tried downloading a newer version but this did nothing for me.
