    1. I see where I can remove programs from the Start menu by right clicking and "remove from this list". How do I prevent recently opened programs from automatically being added there? I am constantly removing things.

    2. I have a desktop background consisting of a picture I right clicked on and "save as desktop background". Suppose I want to use another picture for a while. Is there a way to save the one I have there now for using again another time? I no longer have the original .jpg.

    1. Right click on the start tab and choose properties > Start menu > Customize

    Under Programs > Number of programs on start menu > Choose 0 and hit clear list.

    1. You want to disable the recent documents folder... Click start click help and support type "disable the recent documents folder in the search bar click go and choose help support option to disable the folder and follow the steps.

    2. Your desktop picture stays available in the display settings window click start click settings click control panel click display click the tab named desktop and choose another desktop wallpaper from the list
