I am looking for some help with a bit of networking. Here is the scenario: I have 2 connections to my computer, one LAN, one WiFi. I am using the LAN connection for everyday things like internet, network drives and email. I would like to use the WiFi for everything else. Is there a way to bind certain programs to a certain network connection? The way it is working now, if I want to use my WiFi stuff, I have to disable the LAN.

Nope it can Not be done.

Two Network card can actively work only if they are connected to two independent Networks.

Having two Network cards in the computer is a big psychological problem to many people that can not tolerate unused piece of hardware, but in reality their is No real use for both at the same time.

WiFi specifically for games. I am connected to a secure connection on my LAN. My wife needs it for work. So while I am still able to surf the internet, I am not able to play games. For that reason we setup an aircard or EVDO connection, so that low bandwidth things like games, can still be played while she is using the main connection for work.

My buddy (who is in the same position), is able to work it with the aircard connected directly to his pc. He games over the aircard, and still has access to everything through his LAN connection. The difference in our situations is that he has his aircard plugged directly to his computer, where I have mine plugged into a computer that is using ICS, and broadcasting over WiFi. I can connect to it and use it, but not if the LAN connection is enabled.

Sorry to double post, but I guess you got a bit confused. I am not trying to use both cards for the same connection. I want to connect 2 cards to 2 separate networks, but I want to control which programs connect to which networks.

I'm confused but it is getting clearer...Are you saying the connection your wife has is on a secure connection with restrictions and you are trying to use that same restricted internet connection for gaming or are you trying to get that computer that has the secure connection for your wife but using an aircard get unrestricted access over the net while she is disconnected from the companies website?

My wife works from home, and telecommutes. So her company set her up with a router that makes a connection from our house to their servers. It is basically a tunnel from our place to theirs. This acts as our router, and since our ISP will only allow one network appliance, that is it. I cannot use one of my routers, because then her company loses control of their router and will not be able to access it. I can access the internet through their router, but cannot play games, because of the ports being closed.

We got an aircard to fix that and so that we can do stuff on the road. The problem with those is that the bandwidth usage is very low. Our contract is for 2gb/month. Just playing games does not use that much, but any internet surfing and videos would surely use that 2gb up in a hurry.

So the solution I am trying to come up with, is using the secured, but internet allowed, connection for the internet on my computer. I have set up our home server with a wireless card and internet connection sharing so that we can connect to that to game. The problem is that I have to disable my main network connection so that my game will go through the wireless connection. If I do not, it will try and go through the secure connection (which I do not want it to do), and timeout. I would like to be able to have both of these connections active at the same time, but I do not know how I can force the game software to connect only to the wireless connection.
