Hopefully just a dumb question, but I'm trying to get my onboard sound working along with my SB Audigy 2 ZS Plat Pro - however, it seems they're mutually exclusive, because only one works at a time. With my onboard sound enabled and Audigy plugged in, just the Audigy is found. With the Audigy ripped out, my onboard sound is suddenly recognized and works. Is there any way to get these to both work at the same time?? Thanks in advance!

For me, its so i can get the extra 2 inputs for sound recording. Its definatley worth it because i can do 4-track recording. It works till i get a proper sound card specific to the job.

Sounds like the onboard sound is conflicting with the audigy, tried a different slot? It sounds like its being disabled automatically when you put in a seperate sound card. Try checking in bios to see whether its got some sort of an auto option next to whether the onboard sound is enabled.

I'll try the Audigy in a different slot, though I don't think it'd be an IRQ conflict - Windows should still see both anyway, although one might have an error. My BIOS option for OB sound is either on or off, no auto stuff.
