I have a PC with win XP Home edition installed in spanish and WinXP proffesional in English has been installed over the top, so that when the pc is booted up it asks you to choose which OS you want to use.

The question is, is there any easy way to remove the first windows installation so the pc just runs on the english winXP Pro?

You cant un-install an OS but you can make it so it boots the XP pro.

    control panel>system>advanvced>startup and recovery>

there is going to be an "edit" button, click it. from there it will bring up a notepad file with the startup code, delete the XP home line.

Sorry if this is hard for you to understand, maybe someone will have the time to go into more detail if you have problems.

    boot.ini

Or u can just edit the boot-ini file at c:\ (make sure you have the show hidden files option selected)
