Just heard on our radio station that 200 are arriving today, to investigate what Cairns, and environs, can offer the USA traveller.

Out of curiousity, what are the advertised airfares to travel to Australia, return, from the USA and UK?
Interested to know how the fares compare the other way, from Australia to the USA and UK. Bazza

Bazza hasnt AUS stopped illegal immigrants from entering at present, guess your Immigration dept got a heads up on 200 extras today ;)

In seriousness, the UK does run many many adverts for travel to Australia, last one made me LMAO, as in one part a girl in bikini, says "So where the bloody hell are you?" :)

Sadly fell foul of the regulators for too many complaints http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4789650.stm *booo hissss* the doo gooders have no sence of humour

Wouldnt mind having a beer with him,our country is turning into the bubble state everyone is wrapped in cotton wool,I'v been amzed lately at film advertising like that penguin movie 'contains mild peril' soon they'll list all the scenes before you watch a film, any that might make a kid feel any kind of emotion

Wow went off on a rant, lol:)

Flights from Aus-->UK range from around AUD $1600. GBP £640 pproximately.
Wonder if you book in OZ for a return flight from the UK.
Would save heaps of £. Bazza

PS: Just thought of something. I don't know if those prices include all the sneaky things like airport taxes, fuel levies, etc. Baz
