Here is my situation. When I boot up I get the BSOD with the hardware/software error. I have tried switching around hardware and I don't have any luck. I had one fairly new hardware install, a dvd-writer, but taking that out doesn't work. So basically I am stuck with needing to remove some software? If I can't boot up how can I fix it. I had a backup of my drive on another drive, but a month ago, I deleted it trying to rework all of my music. Prior to the problems I installed adobe audition and it was just constant errors. And then at night when I would listen to music from my computer while sleeping, it crashed and rebooted maybe 2 or 3 nights. I have tried booting from many differant versions of 2000 discs and all of them end up with "press a key to reboot" after starting. One of them started the process momentarily, but it just ended in some errors.

Any thoughts on what I can do?
