One of my 2080 super fans died and at the moment due to recent events i don't have the cash to replace it right now, but i've been running it gaming/load and the temp maxes out at around 67-70 but for the most part they stay around 60-65... i'm attempting to get a replacement fan but failing that it may be 2-3 months before i can replace the card. i'm wondering so long as i keep the temp under control (i monitor with Afterburner, Speed Fan & HWI) is there a chance of me hurting the motherboard or completely burning the card out?

im keeping the card cool by running the remaining fan at 100% and also having the side cover off with a box fan blowing in. any help/guidance is much appreciated...i keep a cold room so the idle temp stays around 21-25 and doing basic browsing and video watching is 26-29

    The system should be fine.
Do monitor the temperature in real time.

i do check it every 30/40 mins while gaming and so far seen nothing over 70 which in itself is rare as even at load it sticks around 65 or lower.........thanks for the quick response :)

    Just a comment:-
I use 'Speed Fan', 'Core Temp' and 'Speccy'......and they all give completely different temperatures....all the time!
I must check 'Afterburner' and 'HWI' to see if either of those agrees with any one of my installed programmes.

GPU wise they all say the same for me but on rare occasion CPU/HD temps are sightly different but never by more then 1 or 2 degrees...

After careful checks, it's the first time I have actually spent a few minutes with all three applications displayed at the same time.
The graphics readings are the same. The CPU readings vary wildly!
My CPU fan gets quite noisy for short periods but having never seen a dangerous reading I'll plod on.;)
