2080 Ti - And Question Rgb Fusion And Gigabyte Xtreme Engine

Hello. I have 2080 Ti Aorus WAterforce Xtreme.

I installed RGB FUSION, Aorus Engine and Gigabyte Xtreme Engine.

My question is. Can i damage something or clocks can be changed without my interaction? I just installed and run programs but i dont touch clocks. Did they programs can mess with gpu clocks?

I ask because.
RGB FUSION just changed my led colours to white without touching anything, without my interaction. I launched RGB FUSION and at start my leds was changed to white of mobo and monitor. Thx.
So thats why i ask about 3d clocks.
That both programs will not mess with my gpu clocks without my interaction?like RGB changed without my interaction color to white

 

I normally disable my Rgb Fusion they keep me awake.

I would not really mess with it unless you know what you are doing.I would keep it for system fan settings.

I normally use MSI afterburner for this type of stuff.

 

Oki but i want to know. When i launched first time RGB FUSION it overwrited my led colours to white. Now i cant back to stock colours,no way to revert to default. And my question is. If colours was overwrited to white without my interaction, 3d clocks not?
I ask about 3d clocks.

Well if you are asking about the fusion part then i would download the RGB Fusion 2.0 here https://www.gigabyte.com/MicroSite/512/download.html and re adjust them through that.It's what i use to turn them off.But you can adjust the colors through this software.

Some software tends to over ride stuff like colors because they are not set.Or they tend to go to default.

 

All bloatware OEM/3rd-party software should be treated as PUP's.

Anything 3rd-party running close to the Windows kernel can be very dangerous.

 

So if RGB FUSION change my colours without my interaction ( no changing by me ) ,gpu clocks will be not touched ?rgb fusion and xtreme engine gigabyte. Clocks are different thing?Last question thx

 

Simply installing such bloatware might change clock speeds (and/or anything else), don't run/install crap = keep stability.

 

I installed RGB FUSION 2 and GIGABYTE XTREME UTILITY.
Without my ingerence,and without my touching can gpu clock speed be changed itself ?

I ask because RGB FUSION 2.0 at first launch,changed itself without my interaction,colours of led from orange to white. Thats all.

 

I don't know, I'm not the author and I avoid stuff that can create instability.

If it changed *something obvious* on the first run then you've nailed it - it did make unexpected change(s).
