22h2 22621.1194 Chrome Pulsates

Chrome pulsates for about 3-4 seconds before responding. I have done all the fixes on the web and reinstall with a restart. I have run Adware, MBAM and Defender especially offline.
Once I delete the cache and browsing data and other fixes it runs ok for about 10 times then reverts to pulsating.
Is Chrome acting up?
Should I install Avast?
I just performed a clean install where I may have picked up a bug. I do not know if it is malware or if Chrome is acting up.
Any advice?

 

I can't answer questions about Chrome nor Windows 10 because I don't use either of these.

I will state, don't install Avast. Windows 10 comes with a good av program, Windows Defender. There is no need to install another av program.

 

Maybe someone who use Windows 11 with Chrome will join and advise.

 

To see if it is chrome that is the problem, use a different non-chrome browser. That means, download and install Firefox which isn't based on chrome/chromium.

Edge is based on chrome. Does it have the same problem as chrome?

 

I have no issue with Firefox but don't use it as it has no voice to text in the search box.
Edge is fine and all of a sudden Chrome is working as it should.

 

Still working on Chrome malfunctioning.
May I ask, if I use Chrome on my desktop and my wife uses Chrome on her Chromebook in the other room but on the same secure network from the router, could that cause issues with my chrome but not hers?

 

I would not think so.
I don't use Chrome on any Windows computer and I don't run Windows 10 nor 11 but my husband and I regularly both surf at the same time and have no problem with browsers pulsating because both of us are surfing at the same time.
