256 colors

    i'm trying to play a old game thats need windows to be in 256 colors, i'm using windows xp sp2 with updated drivers and a ati radeon mobility x700 card with last directx and i can only select 16bit or 32bit colors, what can i do??

    Is this a DOS game i knows dos game uses 256 colors you can download dosbox it will do the job or uses the compatibility mode try win95 first if
