256 OS 98Win no CD or Disk

    I did a scandisk. Results 4,096 bytes in bad sectors. Same # bytes in each allocation unit??? Then the fatal errors come flying in! msconfig inval pg falt mod KERNEL32 dll 015f:bff9dba7. VCMUI ms info32 Explorer err Krnl 386.Exp at 0001:00001c2d. Do I have a flu? ( Same as virus) Tired of hearing virus. lol. I went to System conf Oh no! wininifiles unchecked, system ini the same, autoex is REM- BY WINDOWS98 c: ect. Start up wintools twice are the only ones checked? configsys is Blank. Do I fix Compaq Presario1621 The same way as my Toaster? Really apreciate any help. Thanks. P.S. Thanks again to Ekhan,Yargwel
