2nd Hard Drive Help

Hello,
I ran out of room on my 200gb sata hard drive, I bought a 250gb WD sata drive.
I put it in the computer, and can see it in the device manager but not in "my computer". It slso shows in the bios.
After looking at the manual at WD's site it said some thing about initializing the drive, so it told me to right click my computer>manage>disk manager> But now im not sure, its asking me if I want to format after I assigned the letter.
Do I want to do this?

yes, it's exactly what you need to do. in disk management right click on the new drive, choose an option "format"
