2nd HD

    Can someone please help me. I recently did a system recovery and now my 2nd HD does not show up in windows xp. when i bootup it is in bios that it is there but not when windows comes up. I have tried removing it and putting it back in but still nothing. I do not have any problems in device manger. What can i do to get windows to add this drive back?. Thanks for your help.

    what version of windows xp do you have? Home or pro?

    also why did you do the system restore? was it related at all to the 2nd HDD?

    can you see it in the disk management console?

    Try this as it has worked for me on a similar problem.. Disconnect the undetected HD then boot up . then power off, connect the hard Drive back up and see if Mobo detects.
