3.0 port question

    I have 2 3.0 USB ports , I also have a usb splitter, if I plug the splitter into the 3.0 port will the speed be 3.0?
    or are there 3.0 splitters for that use. Thanks

    Splitters with blue inserts, instead of black are USB 3. But from reading

    What motherboard do you have? It may have a USB3 header on the motherboard to add 2 front panel USB 3 ports (you just get one of those drive bay inserts that has USB a/o front audio ports too).

    All of my systems motherboards (Z77, a couple socket FM2, couple socket FM1) have a USB3 header socket on the board to add front USB3 ports.
