3.52 installed

None of the the buttons work for me!! Can't insert an image, or use a smiley...or any of the extra peripherals right above.

The only problem I have is when viewing a forum I can't click on the "Search" Quick Likns" drop down menu. Viewing threads it works, but viewing a foum it does not. Not sure if I'm the only one having this problem or not.

One more thing I noticed, not sure if it's me or not but when I resond to a new thread, after I reply and it goes back to the main forum it still shows the thread I just replied to as unviewed. Not sure if this is a problem or just something new.

 

Search & Quick Links aren't working for me either (In Firefox 1.5). The post text editing features are much improved And smilies work for me.

 

When I click Forum Tools, I don't get the drop down menu.

 

Dunno what is what with that Gary, works fine on 1.5 Linux here.

Wups. Clearing cache cured the Search & Quick Links not working here too.

Hi Eric. Have you cleared your browser cache yet? That seems to be the biggest hangup. Works for me with Firefox 1.5.

 

I thought I had, but then I noticed CCleaner said it was skipping cleaning the Mozilla/Firefox Cache cleaning. I updated CCleaner, ran it again, and voila! You can see the results!

 

What's different about the post text editing from before?

 

Font, size, quote and others put the url tags right into the text editor, and you just put your text in the middle rather than putting them into small pop-up boxes. Using multiple tweaks such as font and size together becomes easy. You can highlight text, then change color of that text on the fly. Probably other things I haven't noticed yet.

Make sure you see a white text box in the text editor. If not, click the A in the top right corner of the grey editing window to change Editor Mode.

 

Did all of the games get removed? I do not see my Mini putt games

One thing I noticed is when I try to upload a new profile picture, it comes up with "Unable to save avatar". Not sure if this is a problem or not but just letting everyone know.

I'm still not able to get any of the drop down menus to work. I ran CCleaner, Regseeker, and cleared out the cache and cookies with the FireFox drop down menu within it's browser. Did I miss something? Thanks!

 

Same here, it works when viewing threads but dont work when viewing a forum.

Also still getting "Unable to save avatar" error when uploading a profile pic.

Not sure if this is a problem, but when I reply to a thread that is "unread" after the new page comes up after I have replied it still shows as "unread"

 

I'm having issues around the accuracy of highlighted/non-highlighted posts showing whether I have read them or not. It seems I log on, read one post of many unread posts, yet they all get marked as read.

Dunno if this is a software issue or a crap work computer issue

Just as an update, these are the only 3 things I notice.

1. Drop down menus don't work when viewing forums.
   
2. When uploading a profile picture, error "Unable to save avatar" comes up.
   
3. When replying to a unread thread, after you have replied forum still shows the thread as unread.

 

After about 5 minutes of no response(idle) it logs me off, is this new or problem?

3 I'm assuming this is because a new posting has been made on that thread...it just doesn't recognize between me or someone else making a posting and marks it unread anyway ?

 

Drop down menus inside the forums are no workin gfor me.

 

PMs are missing a button. Specifically, Reply with Quote. There is just a hyperlink instead.

 

Does that "no" mean "now" or "not" Shadow?

Drop down menu's work for me.
Number 3 is still a problem. I don't think cuz of new postings in the thread. I tried all sorts of things, like making sure cookies are saved, saving history, cache, etc, nothing worked, so it's a problem on the other end.

 

If only the voices would stop; no wait, that's the TV in the other room.

 

Not sure about the edit feature in firefox, comes up in html format, some people would be confused by this...

 

When the forums are bookmarked in IE the logo in favourites is the Vbulletin logo and not MG as it is when bookmarking the front page

I'm a little unsure if it has always been that way though

The only issue I had was that it didn't record my high score in the arcade, but I found out that I was logged off after some time (not sure how much). I fixed that by checking the "remember me" check box and everything's fine so far. Otherwise everything's going well with me though I don't post that much.

It only started when the update was applied, not sure if its new or an issue. All I know it's agravating having to log back in to check for new post.

 

i dont know if this is just me, but my post count no longer goes up, or anyone elses. i noticed it a while ago, but thought it was just the change. not that i care about my post count, i just want reassurance it isnt just me.
