3 problems?

    my parents computers' home page keeps resetting to 'start-page',you cant send e-mail,and you cant download anything.they're using xp pro with a celeron processor,2.40ghz,256mb ram.sorry .i'm pretty new at this and i cant figure it out.any suggestions?

    have you used any p2p downloaders (peer to peer like kazaa or lime wire)? have you done any recent pathces from Microsoft? have you ever thought of using something like mozilla firefox?

    yeah, make sure you have the latest updates from microsoft (www.windowsupdate.com). Also make sure that you have updates for your antivirus program. I would recommend downloading, updating, and scanning with Spybot Search and Destroy, and adaware.
