    Hi,
I recently purchased an ATI Radeon X800XL and it works fine so far, but I am not sure if I have the recommended 300 watt power supply. How would I go about finding out this information? Thanks.

Most PSU's have this printed on the PSU itself.

Open up your case and look at the power supply, it should be right on it.

i opened up the case and looked on the power supply...it is either hidden where i would have to move other parts or it is not specified. how else can i find out?

never mind guys, i just chatted with dell online (man their customer support is awesome) and some indian dude told me that i have a 305 wattage psu...apparently that's fine for my Dell Dimension 8300, even with the new ATI Radeon X800XL.
