360 vs ps3

hey guys i'm not really biased about any systems or what not but i wanted to know what people generally think is better, i'm looking at getting a new system but i want to get something i'll really like. i absolutely love f.e.a.r. and since i had to downgrade my computer i can't play it anymore, so i know both systems have it and i know that both versions can't compare to the pc, but which version is best? and which system is better? in your opinions of course.

 

I based my decision on which system most of my friends had so that I could play with them over the internet or just stop by their house, connect my controller, and go. I ended up getting a 360 and I'm very pleased with my decision. The LIVE service is fantastic, and the 360 has a very nice library of games. Of course, I do have a lingering fear in the back of my head that I'll get the red ring of death some day, but a three year warranty helps me sleep at night.

I do plan on purchasing a PS3 some day, probably in a year or two when the prices drop below $400 for a bundle. If you are looking for a high definition video player, then the PS3 is a very solid choice since it includes Blu-ray. The PS3 also has a nice library of games, and there are some exclusives coming out soon that I wouldn't mind playing. Also, there is a much less chance of a hardware failure than there is with the 360. So that might be something to think about. Although, I've had my 360 for a year with no problems thus far.
