3B AD Blocker Pro cannot remove

Hi All,
I have a friends comp. i am trying to clean up. He has 3B AD Blocker Pro tool bar on it. In ad and remove programs when i try to remove it says "unins000.dat" does not exist. Cannot uninstall. :confused

If anyone have a fix for this i sure would appreciate it.

One way to fix this would be to use System Restore choosing a date prior to when the program was installed.

If that is not possible; try reinstalling the program that you want to get rid of, and then proceed to uninstall. If you have the original software installation file; try re-installing (to put the file back in place) and then do the uninstalling it again.

This problem often occurs if the installation/uninstallation "log file" is missing, so the program's uninstaller does not know how to remove that particular program. Generally, the most effective way to solve this problem is to reinstall the program in the same location (so that the log file is created), and then use the Add/Remove Programs to uninstall it.

If that does not work; try going to the program files directory folder (where 3B AD Blocker Pro is stored) and remove the entire folder. Then use CCleaner (the 'Cleaner' and 'Registry' sections) to clean up any files left behind in the registry.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Before trying these steps MAKE SURE to create a System Restore Point - Just in case anything goes wrong - so you can "go back" to where you started from!
