3d files

I used to hang out on the 3dfiles BBS in the late 90s early 00s (back when I still had lots of free time). I loved the interaction on the board. I loved the fact that all the regulars had disctinct personalities. I enjoyed talking with them and I knew I would always get great advice.

My question: Is there a place where these people hang out now or have they basically gone their seperate ways?

I know that 3dfiles owner Tim Tibbets has posted here before (is he the owner?) so I thought it might be a good place to ask.

I believe Tim tibbets is the Co-Owner here at MajorGeeks . It has been a long time since 3dfiles.

they spread around.. .most end up finding their way here eventually. Others have just found other things to do than to hang around on boards..

 

I think most have dissapated in various directions. A few might still be at tech-pc, its dead now too.

So our buddy Tim here was one of the few people who actually made money during the dotcom boom years. I guess you were a millionaire - on paper - for a few months
