3d test Freezes/Games

Pls I need help my computer freezes every time i run 3d test / playing games.
tried using video card in my friend cpu and its working fine.

1.> In Device Manager do you have any yellow ! marks by any devices, and if so what?

Answer: PCI MODEM (Yellow Marks)

2. What applications do you have starting with your PC, and if you disable all of them using msconfig (start > Run > type msconfig > startup tab and untick all) as a test can you run the games and 3d tests ok?

Answer: Still Freezes after running test. i tried 3d test w/out using video card and its running fine no freezes Running on VGA compatibility mode.

3.I would be tempted to re-install the Chipset driver again HERE and reboot, then install the Graphics Card driver HERE but only after doing the below and clean uninstalling the nvidia drivers.

Answer: haven't tried installing chipset driver yet,. is it safe installing this file? wont it do any damage installing the wrong chipset driver on my comp?

I have NVIDIA CD driver or should i still be needing to download links u had given?

Answer#3: installing chipset driver are safe/doesnt damage software after installing? i have NVIDIA cd driver do i still need to download driver links?

btw i can run games & 3d test w/out freezing using vga compatibility but not as fast w/vid card on.

 

tried downloading driversweeper / graphic card driver.

after installing driversweeper i cant run the program it says
= The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application

 

i have tried all solution listed here but still freezes my comp everytime i run 3d test / playing games. is there any other solution ?
