3dMark06 crashing

Hey all,
I have downloaded and installed 3d Mark 06 but when I come to run the test it crsahes.

I'll run through exactly what I do, firstly I click on the shortcut on my desktop wait for 5 seconds and click continue without registering. Then I click on "Run 3dMark" and the loading page comes up. After it has fully loaded the screen goes black for a second then I get the send error report box and 3dmark comlpetely exits.

Specs are:
p4 3.0ghz
6800gt
768mb ram
xp
directX v9.0c

Temperature of my cpu and motherboard are at the high 20's before and after crash.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

maybe try to de-install the program and re-install...

if not working maybe you have a bad download re-download the program...

Do you have the lastest video drivers for your video cards...
