3ds max

    i'm doing games programming at uni, but i needed to install 3ds max too.

    so i've got 3ds max 9, downloaded some models and they're in .3ds format.

    trouble is that 3ds max isnt recognising the file type, and at the moment only recognises .max amongst others.

    does anyone know a plugin that will allow me to use .3ds files?

    ah never mind, turns out instead of going to Open or Save in the File menu, you use Import and Export.
